Westchase District seeks Assitant Projects Director

Salary Range: $35K - $40K

Westchase District Overview as it Relates to Projects:

We conduct projects and programs to promote the Westchase area of Houston.  It is our mission to make Westchase a highly desirable location to do business, work, shop, live, recreate or invest.  Over time, our efforts have produced an increase in economic activity resulting in positive benefits to businesses, property owners, tenants and residents.  High quality projects have included the area of marketing, beautification, infrastructure, mobility and economic development.  In recent years, the Westchase area has seen substantial growth providing opportunities for economic development and career opportunities for Westchase District personnel.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the areas of area beautification, place making and mobility to: Support the planning and execution of District Projects and assist in the management of ongoing project communications.

The selected individuals should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least three years in project management experience
• Detail and quality oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to present ideas and information concisely and effectively
• Self-starting and responsible
• Ability to conduct outdoor site visits (may require walking periods of 2+ hours)
• Knowledge of real estate, local government and infrastructure development helpful
